Event Introduction
Since 2007, UWI SCMR, The Bahamas has advanced clinical research to improve health outcomes, inform clinical care, and shape policy. In 2026, we proudly celebrate this legacy with the 20th Annual Research Scientific Conference, to be held 21–23 October 2026 under the theme:
"20/20 Vision: Strategic Research for Healthcare Resilience"
This landmark conference highlights the importance of focused research in strengthening resilient health systems in The Bahamas and across Small Island Developing States. We invite you to join us in person or virtually.
Attendance is free for both in-person and virtual conference sessions, except for the in-person research workshop. Participants requiring CME certificates must pay a US$100.00 processing fee before certificates are available for download. Payment details will be provided after registration.

Continuing medical education in the Bahamas is not new, it aims to improve the delivery of patient care by improving competency in deficient areas and highlighting new trends in the field.
