Learning objectives:
1) Overview of the functional anatomy and biomechanics of foot and ankle.
2) Variations and severity of flat feet with its implications on biomechanics.
3) Review the latest treatment options from therapy to surgery.
Dr. Goud obtained his Masters in Orthopedic Surgery from Manipal, India. Being passionate about sports drove him towards obtaining a Post-Graduate Diploma in Sports Medicine from the Olympic Committee, Switzerland and Diploma in Football Medicine from FIFA. He trained in Sports Trauma and Arthroscopic ligament reconstruction at Miami and Sports Trauma Research Institute Oslo, Norway. His area of interest being minimally invasive and ultrasound guided musculoskeletal procedures for which he trained at National university of Singapore. He is a doping control officer for FIFA, certified advanced team physician by American college of Sports Medicine and ATLS instructor by American College of Surgeons. His primary interest being injury prevention and educating amateur athletes about exercise and sports physiology. Having a vision to provide international standards of care with his immense experience and expertise in the field of sports medicine and trauma is his professional goal.
